Giocoso
A project that combines games on an interactive carpet with Digital Puppetry.
Luco il Bruco (Luco the Caterpillar), a 3D character projected on the wall and controlled by a hidden entertainer accompanies children through many different games and experiences.
The entertainer, hidden in a room near the projections, is detected through a Kinect camera and can see the kids through a camera and talk to them through a voice changer microphone.
The result is a character inside the projection that speaks, sees you and interacts in a natural way.
The games on the carpet, endowed with their own rules, work autonomously by detecting the children on the carpet, but can be activated by the entertainer.

Digital natives, hurry up! Giocoso Lab offers children from 3 to 10 years old a real wonderland of apps: through tablets and 3D projections they can play together, discovering that technology can be used for learning new things and bringing people together. From the fish intruded in the three-tridimensional aquarium to the journey with Luco il Bruco through the five continents to the discovery of nature, to animal footprints projected on walls and magic carpets. Not to mention the Martian to whom you can teach how to greet children on Earth.
