Troy, the fall of the city…
…THE BIRTH OF THE MYTH
A temporary exhibition held in Palazzo Bellini, in the heart of Comacchio, illustrates through spectacular finds the fall of Troy and the birth of its myth.
At the entrance of the exhibit the sculpted bust of Homer presents the two confronting parties, the Trojans on one side and the Achaeans on the other side.
A broad projection on staggered panels that we call “mosaic” recounts the historical event of the fall of Troy. The mosaic panels sometimes narrate only a single story, while some other times they show different point of views, expressed by groups or single individuals.
